TGS RESEARCH COMMITTEE

If you live outside the Tulsa area, but need to have someone do Tulsa area genealogical research for you, consider taking advantage of TGS' Society Research Committee. The committee may be able to help with obituary searches, contact with local funeral homes, checking the indexes of our publications, or in any of several different ways. Donations the Tulsa Genealogical Society receives through our Society Research Committee help to support our research library as well as our operating budget.

Research Services Offered by Tulsa Genealogical Society

• Years of experience, extensive knowledge of Tulsa regional historical and genealogical resource
• Standard: $5.00 per Court Book page, or for copies of other documents available in TGS Library collection

$15 Research Package: includes travel, document cost and packaging for up to ten pages, and postage (additional pages, at cost

• Research for 1 or 2 names...each additional name, $5.00
• Travel to one or two locations...third location, additional $5.00
• Court House (case numbers for historical files, marriage license copies)
• Tulsa City County Central Library (obituaries, city directories, or newspaper items from Tulsa World)
• Funeral Homes for copies of their original records

$25 Court Records Research: stored court records found at the Tulsa County Court Records Warehouse (located in North Tulsa). Includes travel and research for copies of Probate and Civil files, Divorce, Adoption cases, Marriage records, etc.

• May require and does include one Court House (downtown) trip to find case numbers(s)
